Dr. Stacey Berner had a Presentation at the American Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Annual Assembly October 22, 2009. The title was: Treating Carpal Tunnel Syndrome with Dynamic Splinting: A Randomized, Controlled, Trial.

Dr. Samuel O. Matz is performing PRP/ACP injections for sports related injuries. Autologous Concentrated Plasma (ACP) is a technique being used to treat many sports injuries such as muscle and ligament strains, plantar fasciitis and other acute and chronic injuries. The procedure is performed as an out-patient with local anesthesia.
These injections utilize the patients own blood product to stimulate and promote healing. Dr. Matz is the first Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeon in the Carroll County area to be performing this new, exciting and innovative technique.

ACOSSM is proud of Dr’s Berner, Brager, and Silber for being honored as “Top Doc’s” in Baltimore Magazine’s “Best of” edition for 2009. Click here to read the article.
