Our Doctors
 All of our physicians are engaged in research and education. This allows our doctors to provide the most current and up-to-date care to our patients. Our surgeons remain at the forefront of their areas of specialization. They help to pioneer and modify new techniques. Many of these techniques are minimally invasive, and facilitate rapid return to work and play.
Our doctors are actively involved in the medical community. They participate as members and officers of local and national medical societies. The physicians of ACOSSM are extremely active members of the medical staffs of our local hospitals, four previously and two currently holding the title of President of the Medical Staff. Several of our physicians serve as the chairmen of Orthopaedic and Hand Surgical departments at area hospitals: the Joint Replacement Center, the Spine Center and Hand Center at Northwest Hospital, and the Hand Center and Joint Replacement Center at Carroll Hospital Center. The surgeons at ACOSSM also serve as the team doctors for McDaniel, Villa Julie, and Mt. St. Mary's Colleges.
Our physicians have published numerous articles in orthopaedic literature. The doctors of ACOSSM frequently lecture on a variety of subjects in the field of Musculoskeletal Medicine. We're proud to have had our surgeons recognized as being among the best in their field in Baltimore Magazine, The Baltimore Sun and The Carroll County Times. The specialists in our group have appeared on local news and call in radio shows, and are frequently featured in hospital publications.
