Specializing in sports medicine, Dr. Rollo is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Academy of Sports Medicine, and the Arthroscopy Association of North America. In addition, Dr. Rollo is certified by the Board of Orthopedic Surgery in the subspecialty of Sports Medicine. As of January, 2008, Dr. Rollo is the only orthopedist in Carroll County (and one of only a few surgeons statewide) with this distinction.

Before moving to Baltimore, Dr. Rollo was an orthopaedic surgeon at the Womack Army Medical Center and with the 23rd Medical Group at Pope Air Force Base, where he was chief of surgery.

In 1989, Dr. Rollo graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. His post-graduate training included a one-year general surgery internship at the Medical Center of Delaware and a four-year orthopaedic surgery residency at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Dr. Rollo spends his spare time volunteering to cover high school football games throughout Carroll County during the fall season. In the spring, he works with 7- to 14-year-old children as head coach of the Owings Mills Youth Track Club.
