Noel S. Gressieux, M.D.
Noel Gressieux, M.D., is a general orthopaedic surgeon. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Gressieux is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and a fellow of the International College of Surgeons, the American College of Surgeons, and the Eastern Orthopaedic Association.
Dr. Gressieux was the chief of surgery at Carroll County General Hospital (now Carroll Hospital Center) from 1988 to 1990. He also served as their President of Medical Staff from 1993 to 1995.
Receiving his medical degree from the Government Medical College in Mysore City, South India in 1964, Dr. Gressieux continued his post-graduate work in South India and England. In 1971, he continued his post-graduate training in the United States with an eighteen month surgical internship at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. His three year orthopaedic surgical residency was spent at Baltimore City Hospital, John Hopkins Hospital, Sinai Hospital, where he was chief resident, and Kernan Hospital.
